Skip mentions to registries inside packages when installing through a private registry

I am trying to use a full-offline approach for npm packages through a private registry (Verdaccio).
I have a tool that downloads all the dependencies I need and inject them.

The problem comes when I want to npm install : some packages have registries specified in their package.json.

So even if I run these commands before launching npm install :

npm config set registry http://localhost:4873
npm config set proxy http://localhost:4873

… I am still getting time out messages as some packages absolutely want to reach npm.js.

Is there a way to ignore steps that require an external registry, other than the one specified with npm config ?
