What I Wanted to Do

I’ve opened my packages list at npmjs.com. Wanted to see the list. I have 9 packages (I had had 10 before but one was removed by NPM) so the package counter should show 9.

What Happened Instead

Package counter shows 10.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Log in as a user having some of the packages removed by NPM
  2. Open this user’s package list
  3. The package counter on the top of the list doesn’t reflect the real visible package amount.

Platform Info

Any. Originally I’ve been using Chrome, but it reproduces with any browser. It’s at npmjs.com

It seems there’s still a remnant of a package remaining, I wonder if that’s permanent and/or unusual.

Oh this is definitely weird! I’ve triaged it for the website folks to take a look. I wouldn’t worry about it too much – it might just be the result of some failed cache invalidation somewhere, or a hiccup from support tools. Thanks for letting us know, though!
