We’ve added a new top-level category to npm.community: #development! Those of you with trust level 1 and higher may have noticed it already.
The tl;dr is that this will be a general category for discussing all npm foss tooling and library development in a centralized place. Think of it as a centralized issue tracker covering everything from the npm CLI to tink to all our various supporting libraries, and some other miscellany.
The category is also trust-level-restricted, to help limit the noise and keep conversations focused around folks who are dedicating time to these tools (we have #bugs, #support, #ideas, and #ideas:rfcs already for anything else regular users might want to report) :
- TL0 can read existing topics and comments but can’t post.
- TL1 is required to reply to existing topics.
- TL3 is required to create new topics.
The Trust Levels topic has been updated accordingly.
