What I Wanted to Do

Was not sure what to expect

What Happened Instead

the npm install ran for a while and then generated the following error lines:
npm ERR! cb() never called!

npm ERR! This is an error with npm itself. Please report this error at:
npm ERR! https://npm.community

Reproduction Steps

run these commands in order:

git clone https://github.com/netgen/NetgenDemoSiteApp.git
cd NetgenDemoSiteApp
npm install


Platform Info

I was not able to reproduce this on Mac.

The “cb() never called!” is not the underlying error, were there any other errors displayed on screen or in log?

If not, upgrading to npm v6.6.0 or higher might show you more information. There were some improvements to the error display in that version.
