cb() never called! - Getting this with any npm install command
I keep getting this error with any npm install and because of this I am unable to downgrade or upgrade my npm. I am stuck and I need some help as soon as possible.

I suggest you try reinstalling npm as a first try.
(It looks like you used Homebrew to install node. Did you use it to install npm too?)
Yes. I did use homebrew for npm as well.
Do you have git installed?
